Salary Range: $130,000 - $181,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Fremont seeking General Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency and quality.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve production targets and business growth.
• Manage departmental budgets, controlling costs and optimizing resource allocation.
• Lead and mentor a diverse team, fostering a culture of safety, productivity, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Drive process optimization and lean manufacturing initiatives to enhance operational performance.
• Collaborate with sales and R&D to align production with market demand and new product development.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations
• Demonstrated success in P&L management and financial oversight
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience with ERP system implementation or optimization
• Demonstrated success in fostering a strong safety culture
• Fluency in a second language relevant to the workforce or customer base
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP)
