Salary Range: $50,000 - $77,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Spring Lake region seeking Help Desk Technicians. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates—not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing software and hardware.
• Resolve IT issues related to production machinery and operational technology (OT) systems.
• Document, track, and monitor help desk requests using a ticketing system.
• Perform hardware and software installations, upgrades, and maintenance on plant floor systems.
• Assist with network connectivity issues in a manufacturing environment.
• Support end-users with general IT inquiries and provide training on common applications.
• Escalate complex technical problems to senior IT staff or specialized teams.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in IT or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in a help desk or IT support role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware (e.g., PCs, printers, industrial terminals) and software issues (e.g., Windows OS, MS Office, ERP systems).
• Familiarity with network fundamentals (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi) and basic server administration.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with diverse users on a production floor.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC or robotic systems.
• Familiarity with ERP software in a manufacturing context.
• Knowledge of ITIL best practices for service management.
• CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification.
