HR Generalist | Cadillac, MI

Salary Range: $57,000 - $84,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Cadillac seeking HR Generalists who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for a diverse range of manufacturing roles, from entry-level to specialized technicians.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, 401(k), and leave management, ensuring compliance and employee understanding.
  • Oversee HRIS data integrity, ensuring accurate employee records, reporting, and system utilization.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations issues.
  • Conduct new employee onboarding and orientation to integrate new hires effectively into the manufacturing environment.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR initiatives, training programs, and performance management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations within the manufacturing facility.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA).
  • Proven ability to manage full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
