Salary Range: $54,000 - $86,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with multiple companies in Traverse City seeking experienced Field Service Technicians. Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repairs on manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and software issues in the field.
• Install and configure new machinery, ensuring proper integration with existing systems.
• Provide on-site technical support and training to customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Document service activities, including repairs, parts used, and customer interactions.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies while working in various manufacturing environments.
• Manage and maintain a personal inventory of tools and spare parts for efficient service delivery.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC troubleshooting and programming
• Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, CCST)
• Proficiency in using CMMS software for work order management and documentation
• Bilingual in Spanish or other languages common in manufacturing environments
• Fabrication or welding skills
