Salary Range: $54,000 - $86,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains, tests, and repairs industrial electrical equipment and associated electrical and electronic controls.
• Troubleshoots and diagnoses electrical problems in machinery and control systems using various testing equipment.
• Performs preventative maintenance on electrical systems and components to ensure optimal operation and minimize downtime.
• Interprets electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to guide installation and repair work.
• Adheres to all safety regulations, electrical codes, and company policies, including Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Collaborates with engineers and other maintenance personnel to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex electrical systems (AC/DC motors, PLCs, VFDs).
• Experience with preventative maintenance and repair of industrial electrical equipment.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E, OSHA safety regulations, and Lockout/Tagout procedures.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with robotic control systems and their associated electrical components.
• Certification or specialized training in a relevant field (e.g., PLC programming, high-voltage systems, thermography).
• Demonstrated ability to train junior electricians or production staff on electrical safety and basic troubleshooting.
• Experience with energy efficiency initiatives, such as optimizing motor control or lighting systems.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting complex electrical schematics and blueprints for custom machinery.
