Salary Range: $86,000 - $121,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the IATF 16949 quality management system.
• Conduct internal audits and manage external IATF certification audits.
• Lead problem-solving activities using core tools (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa) for customer and internal non-conformances.
• Facilitate APQP activities, including PPAP submissions, FMEAs, and Control Plans.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends, drive continuous improvement, and reduce scrap/rework.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product development and launch activities to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Provide training and support on quality tools and methodologies to manufacturing personnel.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge and practical application of IATF 16949 standards and core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
• Certified Internal Auditor for IATF 16949.
• Experience with problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and MSA
• Certified Lead Auditor for IATF 16949 or other relevant quality management systems
• Strong data analysis skills, including statistical process control (SPC) and Minitab proficiency
• Experience with problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa) and root cause analysis
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
