Inspection Technician | Allegan, MI
Salary Range: $48,000 - $71,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We partner with manufacturers across Allegan seeking Inspection Technicians who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product specifications.
- Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records of quality data.
- Identify and tag non-conforming materials, initiating appropriate corrective action procedures.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and implement preventive measures.
- Conduct first article inspections (FAI) and in-process checks according to control plans and specifications.
- Operate and maintain various inspection equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
Recommended Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in quality control, inspection, or a related manufacturing role.
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T symbols.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or non-conformities.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.
