Salary Range: $44,000 - $67,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Norton Shores that are seeking skilled Inspection Technicians. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and optical comparators.
• Document inspection results accurately and thoroughly, identifying and reporting non-conformances.
• Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections according to established procedures and specifications.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain calibration records for inspection equipment and ensure proper functioning.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality control, or a related technical field
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
• Demonstrated ability to use various precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or deviations from standards
• Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation
