Inspection Technician | Norton Shores, MI
Salary Range: $44,000 - $67,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Norton Shores that are seeking skilled Inspection Technicians. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and optical comparators.
- Document inspection results accurately and thoroughly, identifying and reporting non-conformances.
- Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections according to established procedures and specifications.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain calibration records for inspection equipment and ensure proper functioning.
Recommended Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality control, or a related technical field
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Demonstrated ability to use various precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or deviations from standards
- Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation
