Salary Range: $90,000 - $137,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Battle Creek seeking Logistics Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics operations, ensuring timely delivery and efficient material flow.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce transportation costs.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, negotiating contracts and monitoring performance.
• Utilize data analytics to identify areas for improvement in supply chain efficiency and implement solutions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant shipping regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Lead and develop a team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and sales teams to align logistics operations with overall business objectives.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations, freight management, and warehouse operations.
• Demonstrated ability to optimize logistics processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
