Salary Range: $75,000 - $114,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Mason seeking Lean Manufacturing Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping).
• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify waste, bottlenecks, and opportunities for efficiency gains.
• Implement and sustain Lean tools and principles across production lines to optimize flow and reduce lead times.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute improvement projects.
• Train and mentor employees on Lean concepts and problem-solving techniques.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and quantify improvements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience implementing Lean methodologies (e.g., VSM, 5S, Kaizen) in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate continuous improvement projects resulting in measurable improvements (e.g., OEE, lead time, cost reduction).
• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical process control (SPC) using tools like Minitab or JMP.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production systems.

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ CSSBB (Certified Six Sigma Black Belt) certification
• Experience with simulation software (e.g., Arena, FlexSim) for process modeling and optimization
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor cross-functional teams in Lean initiatives
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for presenting performance insights
