Salary Range: $69,000 - $108,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement PLC programs for automated manufacturing systems.
• Troubleshoot and debug existing PLC programs and control systems.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to define system requirements and specifications.
• Configure and integrate HMI systems for operator control and data visualization.
• Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and modifications to PLC hardware and software.
• Document PLC programs, electrical schematics, and system configurations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years experience programming PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with HMI/SCADA development and configuration.
• Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and P&IDs.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with HMI/SCADA system design and programming.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus TCP, OPC UA, EtherNet/IP).
• Understanding of MES/MOM systems and their integration with PLCs.
• Proficiency in high-level programming languages (e.g., Python, C#) for data analysis or custom tool development.
• Knowledge of robotics programming and integration with PLC systems.
