Salary Range: $47,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Plainwell that are seeking skilled Press Operator / Setups. Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing presses to produce parts according to specifications.
• Perform setup and changeover procedures for various presses, including tooling adjustments and material loading.
• Conduct in-process quality checks using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers) and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine malfunctions and perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules to ensure accurate production.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with preventative maintenance on presses
• Familiarity with quality control processes and tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings or blueprints
• Forklift certification
