Salary Range: $44,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate various manufacturing presses (e.g., punch, brake, forming).
• Perform quality checks on finished parts using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues with press machinery and tooling.
• Load and unload materials and finished products from presses.
• Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of press equipment.
• Interpret blueprints, work orders, and specifications to determine setup requirements.
• Adjust press parameters (e.g., pressure, speed, stroke) to ensure optimal performance.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience operating and setting up manufacturing presses.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and performing minor machine adjustments.
• Ability to perform quality checks and ensure parts meet specified tolerances.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with preventative maintenance on presses
• Familiarity with quality control tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings or blueprints
• Forklift certification
