Salary Range: $94,000 - $141,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Kalamazoo seeking IT Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain all IT infrastructure and systems across manufacturing operations.
• Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with production goals and company objectives.
• Manage IT projects, including system upgrades, software implementations, and infrastructure improvements.
• Ensure the security, integrity, and availability of all data and IT assets within the manufacturing environment.
• Provide technical support and training to manufacturing personnel on IT systems and applications.
• Manage IT vendor relationships and procurement of hardware, software, and services.
• Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
• Proven experience managing IT infrastructure and operations within a manufacturing environment (e.g., ERP systems, MES, industrial control systems).
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and regulatory compliance relevant to manufacturing (e.g., NIST, CMMC).
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop IT teams, manage projects, and optimize IT service delivery.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with SCADA systems or other industrial control systems.
• Familiarity with ERP systems commonly used in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor).
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices in an OT (Operational Technology) environment.
• Certifications in ITIL, PMP, or other relevant project management/service delivery methodologies.
