Salary Range: $76,000 - $110,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the master production schedule, considering capacity constraints and material availability.
  • Collaborate with sales, production, and supply chain to align forecasts and production plans.
  • Monitor inventory levels and adjust schedules to optimize stock and minimize obsolescence.
  • Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, escalating issues as needed to ensure production flow.
  • Utilize ERP/MRP systems to manage production orders, material requirements, and capacity planning.
  • Analyze production performance against the schedule, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives related to scheduling processes and tools.
  • Provide accurate and timely schedule updates and reports to stakeholders.

Recommended Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in production planning or master scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed scheduling decisions.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., production, supply chain, sales).
  • In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, capacity planning, and inventory management principles.
