Salary Range: $70,000 - $109,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Lansing seeking Manufacturing Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement manufacturing processes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Develop and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process flows.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues.
• Evaluate and recommend new manufacturing technologies and equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.
• Conduct time studies and develop standard work procedures.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on process improvement and optimization.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for designing and analyzing manufacturing layouts and tooling.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and experience implementing methodologies (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping).
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex manufacturing problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
