Maintenance Technician | Charlotte, MI

Salary Range: $48,000 - $80,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Charlotte seeking Maintenance Technicians who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Conduct facility maintenance tasks, including minor plumbing and electrical work.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and equipment records.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and production line issues.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company regulations during all work.

Recommended Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance
• Proficient in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software
• Certification in a specialized trade (e.g., welding, HVAC, electrical)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies
• Experience operating forklifts, scissor lifts, or other powered industrial trucks
