Salary Range: $46,000 - $77,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Norton Shores that are seeking Maintenance Technicians. Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency repairs.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 3+ years experience in industrial maintenance
• Proficient in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CMMS software (e.g., Maximo, SAP PM, Fiix) for work order management and asset tracking.
• Certification in a specialized maintenance field (e.g., Level I Thermography, Vibration Analysis Category I, OSHA 30).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and mechanical blueprints.
• Forklift operator certification and/or experience with other heavy equipment operation.
• Basic welding (MIG/TIG) or fabrication skills.
