Salary Range: $60,000 - $87,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all post-production finishing processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Manage and schedule a team of finishing technicians, including training and performance reviews.
• Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures within the finishing department.
• Monitor production schedules and allocate resources to meet delivery deadlines.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate maintenance as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize workflow and resolve production issues.
• Conduct regular quality checks and implement corrective actions for non-conforming products.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing finishing department, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven expertise in various finishing techniques (e.g., painting, powder coating, polishing, assembly).
• Strong understanding of quality control processes and standards relevant to finished goods.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and motivate a team to achieve production targets.
• Experience with production scheduling, inventory management, and lean manufacturing principles.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems for production planning and inventory management.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and specialized manufacturing software.
• Demonstrated ability to train and mentor production staff.
• Knowledge of quality control processes and standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
