Salary Range: $57,000 - $84,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the finishing process, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Train and mentor finishing team members on proper techniques and safety procedures.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust staffing or workflow as needed to meet deadlines.
• Conduct regular quality checks on finished products to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to equipment, materials, or process deviations.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and company policies within the finishing department.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize production flow and resolve interdepartmental issues.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing finishing department, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven expertise in various finishing techniques (e.g., painting, powder coating, polishing, assembly).
• Strong understanding of quality control principles and ability to implement and maintain high standards.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and motivate a team of production employees.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot finishing process issues.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems for production planning and inventory management.
• Demonstrated ability to train and mentor production staff on new techniques and safety protocols.
• Certification in Six Sigma or other quality management systems.
• Familiarity with robotic or automated finishing processes.
