Salary Range: $73,000 - $107,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Montague that are seeking Process Engineers. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality.
  • Conduct process analysis, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, flowcharts, and control plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new products and processes into production.
  • Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other analytical tools to monitor and improve process performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, equipment, and materials to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations in all process designs and operations.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to analyze and optimize manufacturing processes using tools like Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
  • Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis software (e.g., JMP, Minitab, R).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of implementing solutions to improve efficiency, quality, and cost.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher
  • Experience with simulation software (e.g., Arena, FlexSim)
  • Proficiency in a programming language (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM)
  • Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., IoT, AI/ML in manufacturing)
