Salary Range: $51,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Generate accurate and timely price quotations for manufactured products.
• Analyze customer specifications and blueprints to determine material and labor costs.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, and production teams to ensure quote accuracy.
• Maintain and update pricing databases and quoting tools.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with customers to secure orders.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose alternative solutions.
• Prepare detailed proposals and supporting documentation for customer review.
• Track and report on quoting activity and win/loss rates.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Business, Finance, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years experience in a quoting, estimating, or sales support role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and experience with cost modeling and pricing strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with sales, engineering, and production teams.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for tracking quotes and customer interactions.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for accessing product data, pricing, and inventory.
• Ability to interpret basic technical drawings or blueprints to understand product specifications.
• Strong negotiation skills for discussing pricing and terms with sales teams and customers.
• Certification in relevant software or sales methodologies.
