Salary Range: $52,000 - $82,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requests and technical specifications to prepare accurate and competitive quotes.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and production teams to gather necessary information for quoting.
• Utilize ERP systems and other software to develop detailed cost breakdowns and pricing proposals.
• Communicate effectively with customers to clarify requirements, provide updates, and address inquiries.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with customers to secure orders while maintaining profitability.
• Maintain and update a comprehensive database of pricing, product information, and customer interactions.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement within the quoting function.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a quoting or estimating role within the manufacturing sector.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and cost drivers.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and quoting software.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for internal and external collaboration.
