Salary Range: $56,000 - $83,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Lansing that are seeking skilled Recruiters. Key Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Source and screen candidates for a variety of manufacturing roles, including production, engineering, and quality control.
- Manage the full recruitment life cycle, from initial candidate contact to offer extension and onboarding support.
- Utilize various recruitment tools and platforms, including ATS, job boards, and social media, to attract top talent.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future openings.
- Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to evaluate candidate skills and cultural fit.
- Negotiate offers and serve as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure a positive candidate experience.
Recommended Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience recruiting for manufacturing roles (e.g., engineers, production supervisors, skilled trades).
- Proven ability to attract and engage passive candidates in a competitive market.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and industry-specific terminology.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruiting software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) specifically tailored for high-volume manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and department heads in a manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and their impact on workforce planning.
- Prior experience working with a contingent workforce or staffing agencies for skilled trades.
