Salary Range: $40,000 - $65,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Mattawan that are seeking Setup Technicians. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and stage equipment for production runs according to work orders.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration on machinery and tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment malfunctions during setup.
• Verify machine readiness and conduct test runs to ensure proper operation.
• Document setup processes, equipment status, and any maintenance performed.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize setup procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools
• Basic computer literacy for data entry and machine interface

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
• Familiarity with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) for basic troubleshooting.
• Certification in a relevant technical field (e.g., industrial maintenance, robotics).
