Salary Range: $42,000 - $67,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Newaygo seeking Setup Technicians who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical setup of manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions during setup.
• Conduct calibration and alignment of machinery for optimal performance.
• Interpret and follow technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Execute preventative maintenance tasks on setup tools and equipment.
• Document setup procedures, changes, and equipment status accurately.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD software for interpreting technical drawings.
• IPC J-STD-001 or IPC-A-610 certification.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
• Basic soldering and desoldering skills.
