Salary Range: $55,000 - $87,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Newaygo seeking Robotics Technicians who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of robotic systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and software issues in industrial robots.
• Install and configure new robotic equipment and peripheral devices.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and document findings.
• Optimize robot programs for improved efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with engineers to test and validate new robotic applications.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years experience maintaining and troubleshooting industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints.
• Strong understanding of PLC programming and control systems.
• Experience with robotic path programming and calibration.
• Ability to diagnose and repair complex electromechanical systems.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) for robotic guidance and inspection.
• Familiarity with various robot programming languages beyond teach pendant operation (e.g., Python, C++).
• PLC programming experience (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) for integrated system control.
• Certification in a specific robotic platform (e.g., FANUC CERT, KUKA College).
