Salary Range: $54,000 - $86,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Plainwell that are seeking Robotics Technicians. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of robotic systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex robotic malfunctions, both mechanical and electrical.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and identify potential issues.
• Program and re-program industrial robots for various manufacturing tasks.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new robotic equipment.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications.
• Optimize robot performance and cycle times to improve production efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience with industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB) in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for robotic systems, PLCs, and associated automation.
• Experience with robot programming and teach pendant operations.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) for robotic guidance or inspection.
• Familiarity with various robot programming languages beyond teach pendant (e.g., Python, C++).
• PLC programming experience (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) for integrating robots with manufacturing lines.
• Certification in a specific robotic platform (e.g., FANUC CERT, KUKA College).
• Demonstrated ability to train end-users or less experienced technicians on robotic operation and basic troubleshooting.
