Salary Range: $62,000 - $92,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with multiple companies in Paw Paw seeking experienced Staff Accountants. These organizations value long-term fit and are looking for professionals who bring both skill and alignment. By joining our network, you gain access to opportunities tailored to your goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing supporting schedules and analyses.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and inventory valuations.
• Process accounts payable invoices and employee expense reports for payment.
• Support the annual external audit by providing requested documentation and explanations.
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and management reports.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
• Experience with inventory costing and analysis

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems specific to manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex)
• Familiarity with cost accounting principles and inventory valuation in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for financial reporting and analysis
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and their impact on financial operations
• CPA or CMA certification
