Shop Manager | Hart, MI

Salary Range: $89,000 - $135,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production schedules and resource allocation to meet manufacturing targets.
• Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure product standards.
• Manage shop floor personnel, including training, performance reviews, and scheduling.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, coordinating with procurement.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the manufacturing facility.
• Optimize shop processes for efficiency and cost reduction through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain production equipment, coordinating maintenance and repair activities.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing shop environment
• 3+ years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role
• Proven ability to manage budgets, resources, and inventory
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and quality standards
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
