Salary Range: $84,000 - $118,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier quality management strategies and procedures.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier-related quality issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define supplier quality requirements for new product introductions.
• Monitor and report on key supplier quality performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
• Manage and resolve supplier non-conformances, ensuring timely and effective disposition.
• Provide technical support and guidance to suppliers on quality improvement initiatives.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical field
• 3-5 years experience in supplier quality or manufacturing quality engineering within a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and industry specific standards
• Proficiency in core quality tools (e.g., FMEA, PPAP, APQP, SPC, Root Cause Analysis, 8D)
• Experience with supplier audits and corrective action management
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or other relevant ASQ certifications
• Experience with advanced quality tools such as FMEAs, Control Plans, and PPAP
• Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies and Lean principles
• Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives
