Salary Range: $75,000 - $109,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
  • Perform product and process audits to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality into product design and manufacturing processes.
  • Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Oversee inspection and testing activities to verify product quality.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding and application of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
  • Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, FMEA).
  • Experience with metrology, inspection techniques, and quality tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM).

Bonus Qualifications

  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification
  • Experience with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies
  • Familiarity with Minitab or other statistical software packages
  • Knowledge of CMM programming and operation
