Salary Range: $82,000 - $122,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and service level agreements.
• Manage supplier relationships, including performance evaluation and issue resolution.
• Oversee the procurement of raw materials, components, and MRO supplies to support production schedules.
• Implement and maintain purchasing policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Analyze market trends and economic factors to inform purchasing decisions and risk mitigation.
• Lead and mentor a team of purchasing professionals, fostering their professional development.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of successful negotiation and vendor management.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems and procurement software.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends and optimize purchasing strategies.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
