Salary Range: $72,000 - $106,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Otsego that are seeking Quality Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection plans.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conformances.
• Perform internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and manufacturing processes.
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives using lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Provide training and support to production personnel on quality-related topics.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding and application of quality methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, SPC).
• Proficiency in quality tools such as FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Experience with ISO 9001 or other relevant quality management systems.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or other relevant ASQ certifications.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management standards.
• Experience with root cause analysis tools (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams).
