Salary Range: $81,000 - $121,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost and quality.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts for raw materials and components.
• Oversee inventory levels and ensure timely procurement to meet production schedules.
• Lead and mentor a team of purchasing agents and buyers.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to identify and source new materials and technologies.
• Analyze market trends and economic conditions to forecast material costs and availability.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement within a manufacturing environment
• Proven track record of negotiating favorable terms with suppliers and managing vendor relationships
• Strong understanding of ERP systems and procurement software
• Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends and implement cost-saving strategies
• CPIM or CPSM certification preferred
