Salary Range: $48,000 - $78,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment.
• Set up EDM machines according to blueprints, specifications, and work orders.
• Monitor EDM processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and adherence to production schedules.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on EDM machinery.
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality, making necessary adjustments.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and G-code for EDM operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
• Document production activities, machine settings, and quality control data.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience operating EDM machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and G-code.
• Proficient in using precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Strong understanding of EDM processes, materials, and safety protocols.
• Basic computer skills for machine operation and data entry.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with robotic welding or automated manufacturing systems.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
• Basic understanding of PLC programming or industrial control systems.
• Ability to perform minor equipment maintenance or troubleshooting.
