Salary Range: $47,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment.
• Set up EDM machines according to engineering specifications and blueprints.
• Monitor EDM processes to ensure quality and adherence to tolerances.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on EDM machinery.
• Interpret technical drawings and G-code for EDM operations.
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy and surface finish.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years experience operating EDM machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming
• Experience with precision measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, CMM)
• Ability to perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with high-precision measurement tools (e.g., CMM, optical comparators).
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and documentation.
• Basic understanding of G-code programming for EDM machines.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and GD&T.
• Prior experience in a lean manufacturing environment.
