Salary Range: $89,000 - $130,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced quality control plans and inspection methodologies.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action initiatives for complex quality issues.
• Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other analytical tools to monitor and improve product quality.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure quality is integrated throughout the product lifecycle.
• Conduct supplier quality audits and drive continuous improvement within the supply chain.
• Drive the implementation of industry best practices and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949).

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding and practical application of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA.
• Proven experience with problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa).
• Demonstrated ability to lead and conduct internal and external audits (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
• ASQ certification (e.g., CQE, CSSBB) is highly desirable.

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or other relevant ASQ certifications.
• Experience with statistical software packages (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for data analysis and problem-solving.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior engineers or technicians.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies and tools (Green Belt or Black Belt certification a plus).
• Experience working with international standards like IATF 16949 or AS9100.
