Salary Range: $78,000 - $118,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to understand application requirements and propose solutions.
• Develop and implement software applications for automation and process control.
• Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot issues related to manufacturing applications.
• Configure and optimize manufacturing execution systems (MES) and related software.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users on application functionalities.
• Design and develop user interfaces for manufacturing control systems.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements to deployment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
• 3+ years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with automation or robotics.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) and ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and technical presentations.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with scripting languages (Python, MATLAB) for automation and data analysis.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and design of experiments (DOE).
• Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC UA, EtherNet/IP).
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
