Salary Range: $48,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Grand Haven that are seeking skilled Bookkeepers. Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and ensure timely vendor payments.
• Manage customer invoicing and accounts receivable collection.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Maintain accurate financial records and journal entries.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
• Prepare basic financial reports for management review.
• Support external audits by providing necessary documentation.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience with full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger, in a manufacturing or similar environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Sage) and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles relevant to manufacturing operations, including inventory valuation and work-in-progress.
• Experience with payroll processing, including understanding of relevant tax regulations and compliance.
• Ability to reconcile accounts accurately and prepare financial statements (e.g., balance sheets, income statements).
