Bookkeeper / Office Manager | Montague, MI
Salary Range: $52,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Montague region seeking Bookkeeper / Office Managers. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates—not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.
Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions.
- Manage payroll processing, including timecard collection, wage calculation, and tax withholdings.
- Perform bank reconciliations and assist with month-end closing procedures.
- Oversee general office administration, including supplies, mail, and vendor relations.
- Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems for financial and company records.
- Assist with human resources administrative tasks, such as onboarding and record-keeping.
- Support production scheduling and inventory management through data entry and reporting.
Recommended Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping/accounting roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and advanced Microsoft Excel for financial tracking and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and payroll.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills to effectively manage office operations and support staff.
- Experience with inventory management and job costing related to manufacturing operations.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
- Familiarity with inventory management and cost accounting principles
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Experience with payroll processing for a manufacturing workforce
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment
