Salary Range: $50,000 - $77,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Wayland seeking Calibration Technicians who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform calibration and preventative maintenance on a wide range of measurement and test equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning calibration equipment and instrumentation.
• Document calibration results accurately and maintain detailed records in accordance with quality standards.
• Develop and update calibration procedures and work instructions.
• Analyze calibration data to identify trends and recommend adjustments to improve measurement accuracy.
• Ensure all calibration activities comply with ISO/IEC 17025 and other relevant industry standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to support new equipment integration and process improvements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., electronics, metrology, mechanical engineering technology) or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of experience performing calibrations of various types of test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment (TMDE) in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated understanding of calibration principles, measurement uncertainty, and industry standards (e.g., ISO 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540.3).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents, schematics, and calibration procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving issues with instruments and calibration setups.
• Experience with calibration management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
