Salary Range: $48,000 - $74,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform calibration and verification of measurement and test equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning calibration equipment.
• Maintain accurate calibration records and documentation.
• Develop and implement calibration procedures and work instructions.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to resolve measurement issues.
• Adhere to quality standards and safety regulations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., electronics, metrology, mechanical engineering).
• 2+ years of experience performing calibration on a variety of measurement equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Strong understanding of metrology principles, calibration standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540), and measurement uncertainty.
• Experience with calibration software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems for managing calibration records.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair measurement equipment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with automated calibration systems.
• ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) certification.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
• Ability to interpret and apply advanced metrology concepts.
• Experience in a cleanroom or controlled environment manufacturing setting.
