Salary Range: $52,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine calibration and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning calibration equipment and instrumentation.
  • Document calibration results, maintain accurate records, and generate calibration certificates.
  • Develop and revise calibration procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Analyze calibration data to identify trends and recommend adjustments to maintenance schedules.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime during calibration activities.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., Electronics, Metrology, Mechatronics) or equivalent vocational training/certifications.
  • 1-3 years of experience in calibration, test, or related technical roles within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in using and troubleshooting a wide range of test and measurement equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, calipers, torque wrenches).
  • Solid understanding of calibration principles, measurement uncertainty, and relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540.3).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and calibration procedures.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with automated calibration systems.
  • ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) certification.
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Ability to interpret and work from schematics, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
  • Experience with Gage Management software (e.g., IndySoft, GAGEtrak).
