Salary Range: $50,000 - $77,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine calibration and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning calibration equipment and instrumentation.
• Document calibration results, maintain accurate records, and generate calibration certificates.
• Adhere to established calibration procedures, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Select and utilize appropriate calibration standards, tools, and test equipment.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure minimal downtime during calibration.
• Analyze measurement data and make adjustments to bring instruments within specified tolerances.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., Electronics, Metrology) or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience performing calibrations in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Proficient in using and interpreting results from various test equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, pressure gauges).
• Strong understanding of calibration principles, measurement uncertainty, and industry standards (e.g., ISO 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540.1).
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with automated calibration systems.
• ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) certification.
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation requirements.
• Ability to perform minor repairs and adjustments to test equipment.
