Salary Range: $124,000 - $174,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Whitehall that are seeking skilled Controllers. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Manage and maintain the cost accounting system, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and other financial reports for management review.
• Develop and implement internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with GAAP.
• Lead the annual external audit process, serving as the primary liaison with external auditors.
• Provide financial analysis and support for operational decisions, capital expenditure requests, and strategic initiatives.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and debt levels to optimize financial performance.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA certification preferred
• 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles
• Proven experience with ERP systems implementation and optimization
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP system implementation or optimization.
• CPA license or CMA certification.
• Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma experience.
• Strong proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience with multi-site or global manufacturing operations.
