Salary Range: $55,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC Swiss-type lathes to produce precision parts.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and G-code programs.
- Perform in-process inspections using various metrology tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
- Troubleshoot and adjust machine offsets and tooling to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Load raw materials and unload finished components, ensuring proper part segregation.
- Conduct routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
- Document production data, including part counts and quality checks.
Recommended Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years experience operating CNC Swiss-style lathes
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical specifications
- Proficient in using various precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, comparators)
- Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming
- Experience with tool offsets, adjustments, and changes
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with CAM software (e.g., PartMaker, Esprit) for programming and simulation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex machining issues.
- Ability to perform minor machine maintenance and calibration.
- Familiarity with quality control tools and methodologies (e.g., SPC, GD&T).
- Prior experience training junior operators.
