Salary Range: $57,000 - $91,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC Swiss-type lathes to produce precision parts.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and G-code to ensure accurate part production.
• Perform in-process inspections using various metrology tools to verify part conformance to specifications.
• Load raw materials and unload finished parts, ensuring efficient machine operation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine alarms, tool wear, and quality issues.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Document production activities, including part counts, downtime, and quality checks.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years experience operating CNC Swiss-type lathes
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and GDT
• Demonstrated ability to perform in-process quality checks using precision measuring tools
• Strong understanding of cutting tools, inserts, and their application
• Ability to troubleshoot and make program adjustments (offsets, tool changes)

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM software for programming.
• Ability to perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Welding or fabrication experience.
