Salary Range: $57,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on industrial robotic systems and associated equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software faults in robotic cells.
  • Execute repairs and replace defective components to restore robot functionality and minimize downtime.
  • Assist in the installation, calibration, and commissioning of new robotic systems and peripherals.
  • Program and teach robot paths, waypoints, and operational sequences for manufacturing tasks.
  • Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications accurately.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures during all robotic operations and maintenance.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or technical certificate in Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related engineering technology.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB) in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and software issues within robotic systems and PLCs.
  • Strong understanding of electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and control logic.
  • Ability to perform preventative maintenance, calibration, and optimization of robotic equipment.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with industrial vision systems.
  • Proficiency in offline robot programming and simulation software (e.g., RobotStudio, Roboguide).
  • Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet) and IIoT concepts.
  • Basic understanding of CAD software for robot cell layout and design review.
