Salary Range: $69,000 - $108,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and modify manufacturing tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for tooling-related issues on the production floor.
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of production tooling.
- Implement improvements to tooling designs and processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure tooling meets product specifications and production requirements.
- Evaluate and select appropriate materials and manufacturing methods for tooling components.
- Manage tooling projects from concept through implementation, adhering to budget and schedule.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3-5+ years of experience in tooling design, development, or manufacturing within a production environment.
- Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, NX) for tool design and analysis.
- Strong understanding of various manufacturing processes (e.g., injection molding, stamping, machining, die casting) and their tooling requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot tooling issues, optimize performance, and improve tool life.
- Knowledge of tooling materials, heat treatments, and surface finishes.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proficiency in advanced simulation software (e.g., FEA, Moldflow) for tooling analysis.
- Demonstrated experience with automation, robotics, or integrated manufacturing systems.
- Familiarity with additive manufacturing (3D printing) for tooling prototypes or inserts.
